The knowledge of thermophysical parameters and the understanding of heat transport phenomena are of crucial importance to increase energy efficiency and to manufacture energy-efficient products.
The Advanced Thermal Management group has an in-depth understanding in the areas of highly accurate as well as tractable thermal and infrared optical characterization, modeling and material developments. This forms the necessary basis for innovative and efficient thermal management of processes and products.
